Riding a bolt of lightning, gliding through a silvery cloud, David Peoples entered this world. He grew up an hour from the Pacific Ocean, but is deathly afraid of large bodies of water and sharks. Growing up, he found greater enjoyment in playing with fire and explosives. David learned that enjoying fire can be costly (as it appears fire has singed his hair away). His hair never grew back, so David focused on a safer fire outlet by bringing fire elements into his music. He has written many new works for musicians throughout the world. His works are for Orchestras, Wind Ensembles, Chamber Music, Jazz Ensembles, Big Bands, Soloists, and Electronics. His signature composition is titled 'Combustible Corridor' and features fire elements. He is actively seeking commissions to compose new works, whether they be for an orchestra or for electronics.
