I found and lead ventures that enable people to thrive and prosper.
These ventures have been credited with raising £0.7bn+ of new investment in cities, towns and their neighbourhoods, the creation of new tech businesses, community groups, social ventures and many new jobs.
Currently, I am co-founder of Game Academy, a new talent tech venture for players of commercial video games.
Other interests include the revitalisation of Redchurch Street, Shoreditch, East London and advising prominent real estate developers and landlords on the creative, social and commercial development of major sites.
I have worked extensively in the U.K., Russia, Eastern Europe and Canada and founded four social ventures, including a pioneering food co-operative, the revitalisation of post-industrial communities in the UK and an angel investment network in London.
My work has won several prominent awards, including the public space category of the Stirling Architectural Prize. In 2016, I was named in the Centre for Entrepreneurs/Sunday Times/Maserati 100 and in 2019 joined the ZincVC social impact incubator in London.
My background is in network television. Until 2015, I was a producer, director and executive producer of 100hrs+ of specialist factual and documentary television programmes for broadcasters including the BBC, Channel 4, National Geographic and CNN. Projects included major historical and arts series, authored documentaries, foreign affairs, investigations and observational films.
