David Cuen has more than 20 years of experience in digital and social media, with a particular emphasis in engagement, online communities and story telling.
He joined Instagram in January, 2015 where her works as Head of the International Community Team where he oversees Instagram's regional channels and works with the community across the globe.
Before that David worked at the BBC for over 8 years. His last role was as Social Media Editor of BBC World Service where he launched Social First newsrooms in the Brazilian, Indonesian and Turkish services. He also launched BBC Thai, the first BBC language service operating on Facebook only.
He's written several articles and blog posts around social media, online communities and technology.
