A photography and lighting professional in the entertainment industry, David Devlin of Bozeman, Montana, has contributed to numerous projects across multiple forms of media. He has contributed as second-unit director of photography to more than a half-dozen films directed by Steven Spielberg, including War of the Worlds and Saving Private Ryan. David Devlin has provided lighting to promote advertising campaigns for such varied products as Dolce and Gabbana, Tommy Hillfiger, Prada, Armani, and A&W Rootbeer.

David Devlin has also received media mention for many projects for which he designed and coordinated the lighting. Known for his adeptness at creating desired effects, he traveled to the United Kingdom to work with the production team of War Horse and faced challenging lighting conditions in producing Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, released by LucasFilm and Paramount Pictures.
