I have held many jobs ranging from Busser to Bar Tender to Apartment Manager to Sales Associate at Home Depot to Assistant Cruise Director with Holland America Line.
One thing that has remained consistent is my dedication and enjoyment of working with the public. After my 5th or 6th job change in as many years I became aware that perhaps the problem was not the jobs I held, but the fact that I was not in a position to influence any of the companies I worked for.
Therefore the idea of going into business for myself became increasingly tantalizing. I had always enjoyed tea, but did not know anything about it other then my experiences with Tazo, Lipton, and Celestial Seasonings. Through a series of events I found myself renting a space near down town Albuquerque and ordering shipments of fine teas.
In the four years since NM Tea Co. has been open my knowledge of the subject has increased immensely, but there is still always more to learn.
