I'm passionate about telling people's stories whether I'm reporting, anchoring, hosting or producing.

My proudest accomplishment at KDKA-TV is creating and producing the Emmy-award winning newsmagazine "Your Pittsburgh." In every episode, we tell people about the new and positive things happening in Pittsburgh.

I graduated from the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University in three years to take a job at KDKA. (Winters in Syracuse can make a Pittsburgh winter seem tropical!)

I've anchored coverage of a variety of events in the region, including the passing of Steelers chairman Dan Rooney, a wrap-up of the Penguins 2016 Stanley Cup victory parade, tornado warnings in the area and numerous New Year's Eve celebrations in Pittsburgh.

As a news reporter, I've covered major stories such as Hurricane Katrina's destruction in New Orleans, the shootings at Virginia Tech, visits to the U.S. by Pope Benedict and Pope Francis, and the 9/11 attacks from both the Pentagon and Shanksville.

But I've also reported consumer travel stories in Las Vegas, Disney World, Niagara Falls, Myrtle Beach and Virginia Beach.

I'm honored to have won nine Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards, as well as two Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards. And I'm especially grateful that readers of Pittsburgh Magazine chose me as Best Reporter in the city in 2017.

I've been involved with many charities, including ARC of Armstrong County and The Progressive Workshop. I also served on the board of Persad Center.

Oh.. and one more thing.. I was even in a movie called "Tommy and Me." Appropriately enough, I played a news reporter!
