David H Peterson, MDiv, ACC, CPLC
Professional Life Coach in USA
I am a Strategic Living Coach and founder of New Venture Coaching. I help self-directed individuals walk out their life purpose so they can have a positive impact on their world.
Following my undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Houghton College, I received a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Since my seminary graduation in 1980, I have served as a pastor in three churches. I was in my previous position for over 25 years since planting the church in 1987.
I have had a strong interest in leadership, productivity, self-help, and human motivation for many years. I hold ACC (Associate Certified Coach from ICF) and CPLC (Certified Professional Life Coach) and AG3 (Assemblies of God) coach credentials.
I have traveled extensively and have taught in the former Soviet Union, the Baltics, Africa and India. I have also served as adjunct professor in several overseas colleges and seminaries and have been a featured presenter for Global Leadership Training conferences. Working with both positioned and emerging leaders in these countries has given me a unique perspective on the application of life and leadership principles to life here in North America.
I have been married to my wife, Julie, for over 45 years. We have four adult married children and eight grandchildren. We live in the rolling hills of Western Connecticut. I like strong coffee, but not after 6:00 PM!
