David J. Peterson

David J. Peterson is a writer and language creator. He created the Dothraki language for HBO's Game of Thrones, and serves as the president of the Language Creation Society. He currently works as an alien language and culture consultant on the SyFy original series Defiance. He also works for OCC GATE, a nonprofit dedicated to serving the gifted education community in Southern California. He's passionate about art, education and ice cream.
