David Kislin

New York, NY

David Kislin served as the President of COJECO (Council of Jewish Émigré Community Organizations), which connects grassroots community organizations throughout New York City. Through COJECO, Mr. Kislin gives Russian-speaking Jewish immigrants a stronger and louder voice by representing the interests of more than 30 member groups. In addition to providing representation, COJECO offers financial support and finds new funding sources for the programs and initiatives created by members. When new Russian-speaking Jewish immigrants enter the country, the organization assists them as they integrate into American society. As President, David Kislin ensures that the organization fulfills its promise to the community by overseeing the annual budget, soliciting new funds, and controlling expenditures. He strives to increase COJECO’s annual budget each year, giving the organization greater power to fulfill its pledges and facilitate greater community development. Under David Kislin’s direction, the organization has launched three new, successful programs: the Center Without Walls, Project Gesher, and the BluePrint Fellowship.

In addition to his position at COJECO, Mr Kislin runs a successful commodities operation and real estate development firms. Mr Kislin has finished four ground up developments in New York and is currently looking to expand into Miami.
