David Stewart

I love getting lost in strange cities, playing scrabble, and cooking. Much of my time is spent taking care of my family and raising a wonderful stepson.

When not doing those important things, I work with the Corporate Security department of Alaska Airlines, a position attained as part of the merger of Virgin America. Prior to the completed merger in 2018, I managed the Virgin America Corporate Security department, which I had done since the companies launch in 2007. From 1996 to 2007, I spearheaded security communications and policies for American Airlines.

I champion physical and aviation security at industry conferences as well as direct security-related functions for a wide variety of events.
