David Nicksay

Active in the entertainment industry for over three decades, David Nicksay has overseen the production of numerous television programs and movies. A graduate of the Directors Guild of America's Assistant Directors Training Program, he belongs to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the American Film Institute Education and Training Advisory Board. Moreover, David Nicksay earned a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Drama Special for producing Little Gloria … Happy At Last.

Primarily involved in movies, Nicksay served as a studio executive with Paramount Pictures and Morgan Creek Productions. Subsequently, he elected to pursue independent production and since then has provided leadership to several films, including Lucas, A Guy Thing, Legally Blonde, Agent Cody Banks, and Surrogates. In the 2010s, David Nicksay moved into 3D features, performing as the executive producer of Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and Step Up 3D. Most recently, he executive produced Glee! The 3D Concert Movie and Walking with Dinosaurs 3D. The latter motion picture merges lifelike computer-generated dinosaurs with actual New Zealand and Alaska scenery.
