Dr David Pulman

David Pulman is responsible for GlaxoSmithKline's (GSK) Global Manufacturing and Supply organization and Global Procurement. Previously, he held the position of Senior Vice President - Strategy, Logistics and North American Supply since January 2001.

David joined the company in 1978 and has built up a broad range of manufacturing experience, having had responsibility for global primary manufacturing and for secondary manufacturing operations on five continents.

Prior to his current role, David had responsibility for North American Supply, GMS Global Logistics and Strategy, and for the team leading and monitoring the Global Supply Network Programme. From December 2000, he was Senior Vice President, Europe Supply, responsible for the supply of drug product from the 17 sites in the region. He was previously Regional Supply Director, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Also from March 2000 until December 2000, David worked as a member of the merger integration team, with responsibility for facilitating international commercial.

David is a non-Executive Director of FM Global and is the Chairman of The Children's Health Fund Corporate Council.

He has a PhD in microbiology from Newcastle University.
