Debashis Bhattacharya

I trained and practiced as a surgeon in India and the United Kingdom before moving to the pharmaceutical industry where I held senior positions with multinational companies. Last year I launched a new healthcare startup Aegleio alongwith a colleague. Our focus is using digital and mobile technology in the comprehensive management of chronic diseases. We are currently based in the United Kingdom.

I do believe that optimal care can only be achieved when we are able to find an equilibrium between traditional and modern technology based practice of medicine. A holistic attitude and client delight is also paramount.

I live in the UK with my wife and 10 year old daughter. I pursue other interests like cricket, table tennis, badminton, photography, still and video editing,writing and conceptualization and production of cultural shows.
