Deborah Brown Majekodunmi is a Grant Acquisition Specialist in Humanitarian, Transitional, and Development Aid, with extensive experience securing funding from leading institutional donors including USAID, BHA, EU, ECHO, FCDO, UN agencies, GAC, as well as private corporations and foundations. She has supported the design and acquisition of institutional funding for multi-sectoral programs across Africa, the Middle East, Asia, the Americas, and Europe.

Deborah has contributed to humanitarian missions in Ukraine, Nigeria, South Sudan, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, and Sierra Leone, collaborating with international nonprofits such as Mercy Corps, World Vision, the SDGs Project Support Office, and People in Need (PIN).

Currently, as Funding Manager at Christian Blind Mission (CBM) in Germany, she leads global grant acquisition from international donors and institutional partnerships to strengthen CBM’s operations globally.

She is the creator of #MyAccessibilityLens, a video series spotlighting assistive technologies, accessible products, and inclusive solutions for humanitarian and social impact contexts. She also applies her knowledge of UX design to promote digital accessibility and inclusive product development.

She is a Mandela Washington Fellow (initiated by President Barack Obama), an Erasmus Scholar (European Union), and a Clinton Global Initiative Fellow (initiated by President Bill Clinton). Deborah holds a Master’s degree in International Humanitarian Action (NOHA+), with additional qualifications in Development Management and Law. Her professional contributions include academic research and publications on disability inclusion and humanitarian action.
