Deborah Fox, Ed.D., balances her demanding career as superintendent of schools for the Livingston Manor Central School District with professional development and charitable work. Dr. Fox joined the Livingston Manor district in 2008 after working as assistant superintendent of the Onteora Central School District and as K-12 building principal of the Charlotte Valley Central School District. In her present position, Dr. Deborah Fox oversees a 500-student, preK-12 district located in the Catskill Mountains of New York. Over the past six years, she has focused on raising student achievement, improving infrastructure, expanding internal and external communications, and better aligning the district with the needs of the surrounding community.

Outside of the office, Deborah Fox actively participates in regional and national organizations of school administrators. She belongs to several professional groups, including the American Association of School Administrators and the New York State Council of School Superintendents. With the latter organization, Dr. Fox serves on the Commissioner’s Advisory Council, in the House of Delegates, and on the Constitution and Bylaws Committee.

Dr. Deborah Fox also engages in community service activities in Livingston Manor. She collaborates with and supports the Livingston Manor Rotary Club, Livingston Manor Chamber of Commerce, Livingston Manor Free Library, the community youth newspaper Manor Ink, Town of Rockland Planning, the Catskill Arts Society, Sullivan Renaissance, the Boys and Girls Club of Sullivan County, the Weekend of Chamber Music, and the annual Trout Parade celebration.
