Debra Kasirer

Serving in a broad assortment of volunteer roles, Debra Kasirer supports the efforts of Jewish and secular educational institutions. Kasirer sits on the Board of Trustees of Hillel at UCLA and organizes campus events and social functions for the group. In addition, Debra Kasirer supports the Los Angeles-based Sinai Temple and acts as trustee for the Jacob Rose Family Foundation.

A lifelong resident of the Los Angeles area, Kasirer is a trained speech therapist and homemaker. She graduated from Beverly Hills High School and attended UCLA and California State University, Northridge, from where she graduated with a degree in audiology and speech pathology.

After college, Debra Kasirer and her husband started a family. Working with area schools, she accepted the post of Harvard-Westlake School Parents Association President and spearheaded a campaign to raise more than $4 million as President of the institution's annual giving initiative. Earlier, Kasirer had served in various volunteer capacities at Sinai Akiba Academy, including President of the Parents Association and Head of Annual Giving.
