I am a mother, nana, friend, sister, aunt, published author, motivational speaker, breast cancer survivor, Toastmaster and lover of life. My friends would describe me as adventurous, courageous, full of tenacity and a hardworker. I enjoy listening to live bands, dancing, spending time with family and friends, dining out, meeting new people, and traveling. Some of my favorite places in which I have enjoyed are Disneyworld, California, Las Vegas, Mexico, Jamaica, Bahamas, Blue Ridge Mountains, and many local places, as well. I am a late-bloomer (as they say) and is currently enrolled at The University of Phoenix working toward a goal of obtaining my college degree. As I travel this journey, I am learning so much about me and others. Every lesson that I experience is truly a stepping stone.
I love working with women to help with self-esteem and self motivation. I challenge women to step outside the box and experiment with life. I love life and I know that everyday is a blessing. There will be some good days and there will be some rough days. Trust me! I know so well about these moments. It is alright to shed a few tears of frustration from time to time - just don't let the frustration comsume your day! I still have my days when I feel frustrated; it is all a part of being human. I am happy to annouce the formation of our new breast cancer foundation - Y-U Breast Cancer Foundation. Y-U stands for, "You're Unique", just like you and I.
Oh , by the way, I am looking for an RV (something like the big bus that the country singers have) for the non-profit business. If you or anyone you know has an RV just sitting around in your driveway, RV lot, side of the road, anywhere, let me know. Think about donating to the organization and write it off as a gift. Once I get the RV, you'll see my purpose, and you will get to have your name attached to contributing to the non-profit. If you know any famous folk with money.....tell them about me too!!
If you don't ask, how do you expect to receive? Right? I pray that one day there will be a cure for all cancer.
