Delbert Yocam

With an MBA from California State University, Long Beach, Delbert Yocam began his career in the technology sector as a manager for companies like Control Data Corp., Computer Automation, Inc., and Fairchild Camera and Instrument Corp. He subsequently joined Apple Computer, Inc., in 1979 and assumed a number of executive management roles over the next 12 years. During this time, Delbert Yocam became Apple’s executive vice president and COO, in which capacities he significantly increased the company’s revenue and operating income.

Transitioning away from Apple, Mr. Yocam accepted the positions of president and COO of technology manufacturer Tektronix, Inc., where in three years he more than doubled the company’s new product revenue before moving on to join Borland International, Inc. As CEO and chairman for four years there, he guided the software and services provider in transforming its profitability, corporate strategy, and growth efforts.

In 2000, Del Yocam leveraged his extensive business expertise to cofound and assume responsibilities as managing partner of Yocam Holdings, LLC, located in Bellevue, Washington. At the investment firm, he focuses on high-potential new enterprises, as well as mentors executives and helps companies capitalize on business.
