I'm a software engineer. I'm a family man. I'm a gamer. I'm a football player. I'm also an aspiring entrepreneur.

I grew up with Bill Gates saying "640kb ought to be enough for anybody". I had a cassette tape-loading Vic20 and a Commodore64. I spent many an hour playing Dungeon Master on the Amiga and Leisure Suit Larray on the Atari ST. I found myself hooked on the PC with Windows 98 and that thing they called the interweb.

I figured my career choice might as well be doing what I'd enjoyed doing so much for the young years of my life.

I've been working in the gaming industry at Electronic Arts Canada for the better part of ten years. I had started out as a web developer, moving into game development as a software engineer in 2005, focusing in front end interfaces and frameworks.

Since roughly November 2011, I've been working with a senior group of engineers and artists in an R&D capacity, rethinking the way that games and front ends are built.
