Journalism is a door to opportunities, a form of communication, and a way to be aware of what is going on in the world. I knew I wanted to pursue it during my second year in college. As I worked on my B.A. in Journalism from CSUN, I wrote and produced all sorts of stories from human trafficking to food justice and fashion trends right in between. The ability to produce news on a multimedia level has helped me gain so much knowledge and experience with social media, video, and print. Today I continue to write about various topics from neighborhood councils to the latest trend in summer accessories.
