Since embarking on my career journey as a professional software developer in 2001, I’ve been driven by an insatiable curiosity to master new frameworks and programming languages. This passion is rooted in my firm belief that the future of applications lies on the web, transcending the limitations of specific operating systems or computer platforms.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to lead and develop several web applications, ranging from German customs solutions to airfreight applications and (r)e-commerce platforms including custom PIM solutions. My roles have varied widely, encompassing everything from lead developer to project management, system ownership and Head of Software Development.

A significant part of my expertise lies in leveraging the capabilities of SaaS-based software like ServiceNow and Mulesoft Anypoint within existing services and Organizations. The latter platform epitomizes my commitment to API-led connectivity as the ultimate tool for service orchestration. This approach simplifies integration strategies and fosters innovation and agility within digital ecosystems.

Beyond my professional endeavours, I’m deeply committed to spending quality time with my beloved wife and our sons. My leisure time often finds me exploring tranquil places on my bike, with the invigorating strains of death and black metal music as my soundtrack. In addition, I'm an ambitioned home brewer, especially of heavy dry hopped beers.
