Denny Burkes

I build websites, play drums in a soul-jazz group called The Vamps, and avoid hitting a backhand at all costs.

I graduated from Belhaven University in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in fine art. My primary medium in those days was photography but since 2000, I have spent all of my time designing and building web sites. I have an unquenchable thirst for learning new web technologies and implementing them.

In addition to being the Web Designer at Mississippi Baptist Health Systems, I also build some freelance web sites. I spend the majority of my day fiddling about with HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and Wordpress.
