Free Market Economy

The One Life Left feature that most people know me from. I talked about video games, usually from the viewpoint of selling them, over synth music I'd create special each week. No longer doing this regularly but occasional special features

Jan Doyle Band

Generally a bit sinister and melancholy in tone and usually synthesiser infused. This is where I do my hair up all big and prance about on stage in a pvc catsuit. Yes. It's the 'look at me' band. But obviously the music is still good. A bit like Fad Gadget/Human League/Jesus and Mary Chain/Sisters of Mercy/Front 242 and a whole bunch of other stuff rolled into one.

Voltage Controlled Music

Improvised PURE analogue synthing. Usually each track is at least 10 minutes long (often up to 30-40 mins). No two live performances are the same. I told you it was improvised weren't you listening? Also there is the dedication to it being purely analogue sequencing - no laptops, no midi. For fans of Tangerine Dream and Node in particular

Donkaster Elektronische Freundschaft

I got sick of guitar bands dominating the live scene so started putting on my own nights of electronic music. I also run a website to do with it http://donkasteref.com On the facebook page I link to various bits of music that are either targets for the event or just things that are nice.

I think that just about covers everything I do.
