About Me

Who am I?

Derek Carroll, Founder and CEO of Wheeldown.com. I'm a few years out of the undergrad business program at Cornell, currently with a full time job, a wife , a new born son, and a start-up aimed to launch in one of the most competitive industries is the U.S.

I'm a serial entrepreneur in the making. I've started businesses in both high school and college and will start another after Wheeldown. I live and breath entrepreneurship and love to connect with others who have started or who want to start companies.

Why are you here?

To follow the path of a start-up from conception to reality. You'll get a glimpse of what's involved in launching a high growth startup in a highly competitive industry. I'll share tips and tricks that I've learned through the process, things that work and things that don't work. You'll see first hand what's it's like to start from scratch and grow into a real company.
