Born in South Africa, lived in New York City for twelve years, and now together with my wife Cathy and three kids, call Philadelphia home.

Having planted and pastored All Souls Christian Church in Manhattan, I am now pursuing further theological studies at Westminster Theological Seminary.

I am passionate about Christ and his gospel, and I am often found thinking about the importance of sound theology and its corresponding relationship to the church, its mission and context.

I enjoy playing golf, the occasional entrepreneurial book, and good music. You'll often find me with a book or kindle in hand, but more that, I enjoy spending time with my family.
