Detavio Samuels

At the age of 33, Detavio is one of the advertising industry's youngest executives and has helped some of the world's biggest companies (including Walmart, Chrysler LLC, NBA and Johnson & Johnson) build their brands and connect to consumers. Currently Detavio operates as the President of GlobalHue-Detroit, the nation's leading multicultural advertising agency, where he leads teams to develop crossover strategies and ideas that tap into the influence of the fast-growing multicultural market.

In addition to his job as a marketing leader, Detavio is the founder of Exist No More, a personal inspiration company built on the success of his first book and designed to inspire greatness in his generation. Through his writing, motivational speeches and interviews, Detavio continuously seeks to unleash the personal magic in all of us.

Detavio has been recognized for his work on both the marketing and personal development fronts with awards such as: 40 Under 40 (Crain's Detroit, 2013), Men of Excellence (Michigan Chronicle, 2012), Power 30 Under 30 (The Apex Society, 2011) and Top Executives In Marketing and Advertising (Black Enterprise, 2011).

When asked to summarize what he has accomplished at such a young age, Detavio says: "I believe in God, dreaming big and winning. I just want to demonstrate what a life based on those three things can look like and to provide a framework for my generation on how to achieve success in their life."
