David Brown

I am first and foremost a husband, father, and grandfather. I cherish every minute I have with my family.

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a disciple of Jesus Christ. I love the Lord and His teachings, and strive to live my life in a way that helps others come to know more about Him and His love for them.

I am also a software engineer and appreciate how there is always something new to learn in the field. I build SaaS platforms and make web, iOS, and Mac apps. I've been a part of some pretty awesome companies, including Mozy, Move Networks, Instructure, Uplynk/Verizon Media, and now Canary Speech. I am all about the software development process, especially the part where I get to make cool stuff for people to use.

I love music, both playing it and listening to it. I play piano and some pipe organ from time to time. I also enjoy taking my camera gear out on photography excursions. I love to be out in nature, whether it's for a picnic at the park or a bike or hike in the mountains, especially American Fork Canyon (one of the most beautiful spots in the world) and just about anywhere in Southern Utah.
