A longtime executive in the leisure cruise industry, Dietmar Wertanzl currently serves as the executive vice president of hotel and commercial operations with FleetPro Ocean, Inc., in Miami, Florida. In this role, he oversees all programming and standards, guides concept creation, and negotiates contracts with a diverse set of parties. Dietmar Wertanzl plays an integral role in the operation of all hotel operation areas, from reception and retail concepts to food & beverage outlets and hotel systems. He also handles key direct reporting functions such as human resources and supply chain.
Before joining the leadership team at FleetPro, Dietmar Wertanzl spent several years as the president and chief executive officer of Cruise West in Seattle, Washington. During his time with the “Best in Class” small-ship exploration cruising company, he continued the company’s trips to Alaska and expanded its product line to include excursions to Antarctica, the Galapagos Islands, and European rivers.
Dietmar Wertanzl spent the early years of his career with Crystal Cruises Inc., in Los Angeles, California.
