I'm a Texan adrift in Los Angeles. My blog Bureaucracy for Breakfast is a comedic look at the economic divide and it has been featured on Marketplace on NPR, AOL News, and Chelsea Handler's Borderline Amazing Comedy. It was also named one of "24 Top Blogs and Bloggers Who Deserve Academy Awards" which is the next best thing to getting an actual Oscar and sitting next to George Clooney. I write about people like Oprah, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kathryn Bigelow for Forbes, and I also write about things like Zombies, entertainment, and politics for Ask Men, Huffington Post , The Gloss, The Nervous Breakdown, Thought Catalog, Hello Giggles, The Impersonals, Red Bull, and the Los Angeles Review of Books. My first two comic books, about Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor, were recently published by Bluewater Comics. I'm represented by Foundry Literary + Media.
