Dirk Kettlewell

Much can be said of those who spend their time and resources to help others who are in need. Dirk Kettlewell is a great example of this statement. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in numerous charities such as the Boomer Esiason Foundation, Reggie Jackson’s Mr. October Foundation, Kids in Need, United Way, and many others. Not only has Dirk Kettlewell contributed his own time and money, he has diligently worked to develop corporate endorsements and sponsorships for the charities in which he is associated.
Dirk Kettlewell’s involvement in these charities has helped better the lives of thousands of people. In 2004, Dirk Kettlewell earned the MVP Award from the Boomer Esiason Foundation. This was largely due to the high volume of corporate endorsements and sponsorships that Kettlewell brought to the table, in order to fight and find a cure for cystic fibrosis. These corporate endorsements and sponsorships include such companies as Microsoft, OfficeMax, Acer, HP, Lexmark, Logitech, Sony, and many more. Because of these corporate sponsorships, the Boomer Esiason Foundation has had the opportunity to better the lives of those affected by cystic fibrosis.
One of Dirk Kettlewell’s passions in life is working with various charitable organizations. Dirk Kettlewell has raised over $2,000,000 for the Boomer Esiason Foundation and over $100,000 for Reggie Jackson’s Mr. October Foundation. Not only has he worked and contributed to many organizations, he has assisted in providing underprivileged inner city children in Cleveland with over $40,000 in school supplies, and supports a charity that gives scholarships to the children of fallen Cleveland police officers and firefighters.
