[Overview]

A Researcher in Electrical Engineering who loves bizarre experiments. Earned doctorate in England and also lived in the UK for a total of 10 years. Currently working at a private university in Tokyo, Japan.

Establishing an “Edutainment” programme for Japanese “grown-ups (mainly 20s-30s)” for a deeper understanding towards scientific perspectives utilizing the subcultural aspects of Japanese internet such as niconico and ladio.net. Fabricating mad-science musical gadgets, which are the pyro-synthesizer and the DVS driven Tesla coil, with the help of equipments at a nearby Fab lab.

マッドな実験大好きな電気工学の研究員。学位をイギリスで取得、イギリスには計１０年間住んでいた。現在は東京の某私立大学に勤務。

2-30代の若い大人向けに、科学的思考の理解を目的としたエデュテイメント（教育＋エンタメ）番組の構築を目指している。特にニコニコ動画やねとらじなどの日本のネットサブカルを通じたコンテンツ配信を行っている。具体的なコンテンツとしてはFablabなどの設備を使って、熱音響倍音加算式シンセサイザーやDVS駆動テスラコイルなどのマッドサイエンスな音楽ガジェットの開発を行っている。(c.f. http://nico.ms/im3123375 )
