My Story:

My career as a DJ began by accident. The passion that has grown inside of me has completely caught me off guard. I love this profession and give it everything I have. In September of 2010 I was out at the opening of a new bar/club with the owner and friends. There was a DJ throwing a block party out in front of the club and inside they only had a Ipod playing until the DJ came inside. I asked the owner if I could use the music on my phone and proceeded to just pick songs for about a hour or so.. based off that hour, apparently a lot of people had enjoyed my song selections and told the owner and other staff members. The next day he calls me up and asks me to come DJ. I didnt even have a clue of the concept of being a DJ. I was reluctent at first but decided why not give it a shot? From September 2010 to December 2010 I played at that little club before being moved to a bigger club in downtown Oklahoma City where I started trying to perfect my talents. Being asked to become a DJ is one of the best things to ever happen to me in my lifetime. I've been extremely lucky and I am very thankful for all the opportunites that have been given to me. The amount of support I have received from family and friends is overwhelming. I can not thank any of them enough. Since the beginning of 2011 I have been able to play for many nightclubs including nightclubs in Tulsa, OK. and Dallas, Tx. The type of music that I prefer and feed off of is called House Music (Techno), however I have learned to play Hip Hop to diversify myself. My current residencies are as follows;

Every other Monday night - Venu. (House music)

Every Tuesday night - Skkybar UltraLounge. (Hip Hop)

Every Thursday night - Rok Bar. (Hip Hop)

Every Friday & Saturday night - DollHouse Burlesque Lounge. (House/Top40 Dance)

In September 2012 it will be 2 years since I began this journey. The amount of sucess I have achieved in the short amount of time only fuels me to keep pushing harder and harder every week. My ultimate goal as a DJ is to play in front of thousands at EDM (electronic dance music) festivals. The love and passion that has formed inside me from becoming a DJ is undescribable.
