I'm the Author of the Carl's Odyssey kids books.
THE SHORT VERSION:
I've served as a founder or founding member of seven successful companies in the entertainment, technology, publishing, medical and consumer goods industries.
I'm an INTJ on the Meyers-Briggs scale, a collector of words and the biggest (as in tallest) fan of Spongebob Squarepants.
THE LONG VERSION:
I'm a former Creative Executive and Director of Operations for a Saudi-backed, public entertainment holding company, where I oversaw day-to-day operations for 6+ companies. In under 3 years, I helped grow the company from 3 people working out of a house to over 30 people working around the world. In late 2010, I left the company because it was vapid, soul-sucking work.
Measuring success by money standards is for fools. I know because I was one. I was worth over $1 Million and never felt worse in all my life. I gave it all up and am now nowhere near that $1M and I've never been happier. Money is an ancillary benefit to doing what you love. I paid $1 Million to learn that lesson and it was worth every penny.
