Daniel Klawitter
Poet, Singer, and Lyricist in Denver, Colorado
Daniel is a member of the Colorado Poets Center and has over 26 years experience as a community organizer, labor rights activist, and admissions professional in graduate theological education. In addition to being an accomplished and widely published poet, he is also the lead singer/lyricist for the alternative indie rock/folk band, Mining for Rain.
Daniel is the author of 10 books of poetry, including Where Sunday Used to Be: New and Selected Poems (Wipf & Stock/Resource Publications, 2022) which won the 2023 Colorado Author's League Book Award for Poetry.
