Doc Gallagher

As President and CEO of The Gallagher Group, Doc Gallagher has educated thousands of individuals on financial topics through various publications, consultations, and the radio. After earning his Ph.D. from Brown University, Doc Gallagher began his career as an instructor of logic, philosophy, and ethics at the University of Houston and later at Texas Christian University. Since retiring, he has worked for more than 20 years to provide financial advice and education, primarily to senior citizens. Doc Gallagher offers them advice on how to maintain and pass on as much of their wealth as possible to their families within the complicated financial system. Doc Gallagher hosts a weekly radio program titled Your Family Matters, providing financial advice to people in Dallas, though his radio show is available worldwide via streaming at KAAM's website. They include discussions on the benefits of IRA rollovers, the dangers of nursing homes and ways to avoid them, and the importance of maintaining current documents in estate planning. A relevant public speaker, Doc Gallagher also provides his services as a motivational speaker and educator to churches, businesses, and organizations on topics including "How to Retire Safe, Early and Happy," maximizing a 401(k), proven investment strategies, and improving stewardship and giving. Doc Gallagher serves as a faculty member and financial speaker for Zig Ziglar’s Born to Win conferences. In his free time, Doc Gallagher is an avid runner. Doc Gallagher participated in and completed the New York City Marathon and is currently training in his hometown of Dallas for his first triathlon.
