Don Goble

Don is in his 10th year teaching full-time at Ladue Horton Watkins High School in St. Louis, MO. Don serves as the Broadcast Technology, Film & Multimedia Instructor and a Ladue School District Video Producer. The Journalism Education Association named Don as their Broadcast Adviser of the Year 2015.

He coaches the Varsity Rams Baseball team and in 2012, was named the Missouri Assistant Baseball Coach of the Year by the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association. Outside of school, Don travels the country as a national speaker at education conferences all over North America and blogs for multiple national education publications.

Don is a dedicated Apple user, and was recognized as an Apple Distinguished Educator in 2011. He was also named as the 2011 Charles Klotzer Media Literacy Educator of the Year by the Gateway Media Literacy Partners. In 2012, Don was named as an S'Park Scholar Media Mentor through Ithaca College in New York. Don was the Keynote speaker at the 2012 SPUN Special Education Technology Conference discussing Media Literacy. Don was also a Spotlight Speaker for the 2013 Midwest Education Technology Conference METC. In February of 2014, Don was recognized as one of the first Distinguished Broadcast Advisers of the year from the Journalism Education Association. Don and his students also created the first video show on the BAM Radio Network called Student Voice in 2014.
