I am currently an Instructional Coach at Ames High School in Ames, IA. I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from Iowa State University and a Masters in Administration - Transformative School Leadership from Iowa State University. I have started my doctoral program in Educational Technology at Iowa State University. I am an authorized Google for Education Innovator and Google for Education Trainer. I have presented at numerous conferences including the Midwest Google Summit, ITEC, Iowa 1:1, TIES, NETA, and ISTE. I am a supporter of Edcamps and using Twitter and other forms of social media to stay in the growth mindset. I organized the Ames location for Edcamp Iowa in February 2016 and 2017.

I taught science for 9 years before moving into the role of a technology coach for 8 years total, a year as a Director of Technology, and have been in my current role of Instructional Coach since August 2022. I have also taught at the college level with multiple courses related to educational technology. I am available to help other teachers as they look to improve teaching and learning through the usage of technology, Universal Designs for Learning, or are interested in starting or growing your Esports program.
