I'm a high-level programmer, guitarist, and comedy writer living in San Francisco, California.  Recently, I started a company called Keen.

At Keen, we're building a cloud automation platform that lets software companies automate arbitrary, metrics-driven actions.

Software philosophy:

• I work to elevate the technological baseline, amplifying the efforts of my colleagues and my craft.
• I embrace dynamic typing, multiple inheritance, runtime mutation, and schemaless databases.  I embrace these things because of experience, not because of fashion.  I know they are as dangerous as they are powerful, and that is why I study.
• The Zen of Python flows through me, but I am not dogmatic.  There is a time and a place for magic.  I am a Rubyist at heart who prefers the language design of Python (explicit namespacing is crucial).
• I like to do crazy things in Javascript with MooTools and socket.io.
• I abhor inefficiencies.  I use Vim, Alfred, and OmniFocus religiously.
