Doug Briody is a business lawyer for people whose business is life.

He is a graduate of Harvard College and the Maurer School of Law at Indiana University-Bloomington. Doug is a native of Evansville, Indiana, and has practiced law there since 1994. In 2008, he opened the Law Office of Doug Briody, where he helps entrepreneurs produce, protect, and pass on their wealth. He also maintains an Of Counsel relationship with the Siesky Law Firm, PC, and has served as the attorney to the Vanderburgh County Election Board since 2005.

Doug is an organizer of Startup Weekend Evansville and a past President of the Evansville Bar Association. He attends Crossroads Christian Church with his family and serves or has served on the boards of various area non-profit organizations, including Community One, the Evansville Bar Association, the Social Media Club of Evansville, and the Evansville-Area Trails Coalition.

He enjoys good books and good food, public speaking and writing for fun and profit, and riding his bicycle.
