Douglas Brennan FBI

An experienced military and law enforcement professional, Douglas Brennan served for nearly a decade as an FBI special agent in Colorado. In his role as a relief supervisor, he oversaw 20 special agents and police detectives and directed investigations into criminal, cybercrime and national security matters. He also earned selection as primary firearms instructor for the region, administering weapons training for all personnel in Wyoming and Colorado. As a tactical operator for the FBI Denver SWAT team, Douglas Brennan cross-trained as a medic and completed EMT-B certification.Prior to joining the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Mr. Brennan served as a police officer in San Bernardino, California. Douglas Brennan began his career in public service as a lieutenant in the US Marine Corps. After tours in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, he led 200 Marines as company executive officer before separating from the Corps with the rank of captain.Seeking a career transition to the medical field, Mr. Brennan enrolled at the Colorado University School of Medicine in 2011. Since beginning his studies, he has won a Best in Physics (Imaging) abstract award and has written an article published by the International Journal of Radiation Oncology.
