Douglas Nascimento

Journalist, photographer and independent researcher, Douglas Nascimento coordinates and edits the renowed website Sao Paulo Antiga (Old Sao Paulo), launched in 2009, which became the São Paulo´s most respectful iconographic database.

Since January 2012 Douglas is member of Historical and Geographical Institute of São Paulo, where became the first blogger named member of a historical institute in Brazil.

In the past, Douglas was editor of ´Russia Hoje´[Russia Today] (1999-2004) what was the first website dedicated to publish news exclusively from Russia in brazilian portuguese.

In the editorial industry worked in the Super T magazine (2001-2002) through Conlan Editors.

Since 2003 he is a free lancer jornalist, fotographer and researcher. In 2010 was columnist of MTV na Rua newspaper published by Grupo Abril editors.

In the sports area, he was columnist of Globo Esporte portal, in the Portuguesa's blog in 2011. He was director of Historical Museum of Associção Portuguesa de Desportos (2008-2010).

Nowadays, he coordinates the curious Human Street View blog dedicacted do the history of USA cities, comparing old photos from his archive with the actual Google Street View.
