Before my career in industry, I worked for the US Gov where I directed efforts to to anticipate emerging threats to the US, bioweapons proliferation in Central Asia, and co-founded the Iraqi Virtual Science Library (IVSL).

My academic career was in Mathematics where I specialized in Chaos Theory.
