Dr. Kelly Wilson has extensive experience examining and testifying in cases involving violent offenders, sexual predators, and mentally ill criminals. After receiving her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Dr. Wilson completed a postdoctoral forensic fellowship at Harvard Medical School's Law and Psychiatry Service. She was employed as a Federal forensic examiner, and was then recruited to Minnesota State Operated Forensic Services as the Lead Forensic Psychologist and Director of Forensic Psychology Training. She has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota's Department of Psychiatry and the William Mitchell College of Law. She founded the Minneapolis Center for Forensic Psychology, and is currently President of the national forensic firm, PsyBar, LLC.

Dr. Wilson has provided expert testimony in numerous criminal and civil trials, including murder cases and commitments of Sexually Dangerous predators. She is a trial consultant and has been a member of distinguished panels of experts for national attorney education programs through the Guthrie Theatre. These events have covered such topics as white collar crime and attorney ethics. She was part of a task force charged with modifying Minnesota's standard for legal insanity, and she developed a statewide risk protocol for individuals treated in State Operated facilities. Additionally, Dr. Wilson has worked with high-risk youth and their families as a therapist and parent educator, and she has been an expert in high profile custody battles.
