Dr Chandra Reddy

A medical professional currently practicing in Kentucky, Dr. Chandra Reddy completed his formal education in India. He attended Osmania University in Hyderabad, from which he received both his Bachelor of Science and his medical degree. Dr. Chandra Reddy went on to perform his internship at Osmania General Hospital before moving to Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies, to undergo a rotary internship at San Fernando General Hospital.

Dr. Chandra Reddy began his career as an emergency room physician in Grenada, West Indies. In 1987, he became the Senior House Officer in the Department of Surgery at Victoria Hospital. Three years later, Dr. Reddy immigrated to the United States and passed the Federation Licensing Examination, National Boards in Clinical Sciences, and FMGEMS Basic Sciences Examination. He then spent three years training at Coney Island Hospital, an affiliate of Downstate University, in New York.

In 1994, he signed up to work in the medically underserved area of Appalachia for a period of two years. After fulfilling his commitment, he relocated to Barren county, Kentucky, where he started practicing internal medicine and also did part time work in emergency medicine.

In 2008, Dr. Reddy built a practice in Cave City, Kentucky and established a flourishing medical practice. At his 5,000 square foot office, he serves not only the residents of Barren County, but also the surrounding counties. Dr. Reddy specializes in treating ailments such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, COPD, emphysema, gastrointestinal disorders, prostate and sexual dysfunction, skin disorders and cancers, and anxiety/depression.

Dr. Reddy and his staff dedicate themselves to treating patients with compassionate understanding of their problems. Their goal has been to treat the patient as a whole and strive to keep the cost of medical care to a minimum without compromising quality.
