DrDavid Moon

Dr. David Moon splits his time between two medical practices, Accelerated Rehabilitation and Pain Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Dr. David Moon Family Practice in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a specialist in osteopathy and pain management and is licensed by the Nevada Osteopathic Board of Medical Examiners, the Oklahoma State Osteopathic Board of Medical Examiners, and the Utah State Osteopathic Board of Medical Examiners. As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Moon also belongs to a number of related professional associations, such as the American Osteopathic Association and the Nevada Osteopathic Medical Association.

At his Accelerated Rehabilitation and Pain Center, Dr. Moon performs procedures to help patients with common conditions such as muscle pain and tendonitis. One treatment he provides for patients with muscle pain is trigger point injection, during which he administers a small injection into a mass of knotted muscle, causing the muscle to relax and the pain to be relieved. Dr. Moon also often treats tendonitis by injecting the area with platelet-rich plasma as an alternative to cortisone injections or anti-inflammatory pills, which can have damaging side effects
