The Director of a diverse mental health practice since 1992, Dr. Grace Graham also holds a reputation as a forensic psychologist. As the founder of Charis Counseling, Dr. Grace Graham helps clients develop healing techniques in a number of areas, among them learning-related issues, eating disorders, anxiety concerns, and relationship matters. Accommodating children, adolescents, individuals, and couples alike, Dr. Grace Graham empowers her clients with practical feedback, helpful suggestions, and integrative answers. Outside of her efforts with clients, Dr. Grace Graham contributes her expertise in the psychology arena as a forensic witness. Commanding a dynamic knowledge of the legal system, Dr. Grace Graham maintains close communications with attorneys and provides in-depth evaluations in areas of custody, childhood trauma, anger management, and other psychological arenas. Skilled at presenting her findings in court in a calm, professional manner, Dr. Grace Graham proves a valuable resource in many court cases. In addition to professional engagements within her practice and the courtroom, Dr. Grace Graham frequently undertakes teaching appointments. Formerly an adjunct faculty member in the Christian Education Department of the Dallas Theological Seminary, she also served for over a decade as a lecturer and consultant with the Psychiatry Department at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Drawing from a lengthy higher education, Dr. Grace Graham holds Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin; a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon; a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas; and a Doctor of Clinical Psychology from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. She took on an internship and residency training at the Minirth-Meier Clinic in Richardson, Texas, working with patients in the North Texas Medical Center. Dr. Grace Graham is also a member of several groups including the American College of Forensic Examiners International, the American Psychology-Law Society, The Collaborative Law Institute of Texas, and the American Psychological Association.
