Dr. Kevin Cleary

Licensed to practice dentistry in the State of New York, Dr. Kevin Cleary attended the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. An outstanding student, he graduated first in his class, earning Dean's List status all eight semesters and serving as valedictorian at graduation. During his years at dental school, Dr. Kevin Cleary earned numerous honors and citations, including the Tucker and Lasher Scholarships, the Anthony S. Gugino Award for Excellence in Dental Anatomy and Occlusion, and the Ernest Witebsky Memorial Award for Proficiency in Microbiology. In addition, he was honored with awards from the Alpha Omega dental fraternity, the American Equilibration Society, and the International College of Dentists.

As a dental student, Dr. Cleary was a member of the Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity. Involved with academic life, he provided feedback for a curriculum evaluation study, was a member of the Student-Faculty Relations Committee, and served as a teaching assistant for the sophomore course, Introduction to Operative Dentistry.

Extremely active in dental research between academic sessions, Dr. Cleary participated in projects for the Departments of Oral Biology, Operative Dentistry, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He co-published several papers under the mentorship of his professors, presenting them at the annual meetings of the American and International Associations for Dental Research for three consecutive years. In addition, he completed an externship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Erie County Medical Center through the university.

Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Kevin Cleary was accepted at Louisiana State University, where he completed a yearlong residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Charity Hospital, a Medical Center of Louisiana teaching hospital in New Orleans. The residency included two months of Emergency Medicine.
