Dr. Mark Heaver

Dr. Mark Heaver currently directs a private medical practice specializing in family care. Practicing in Dallas, TX, Dr. Mark Heaver maintains particular expertise in the realms of preventive medicine, wellness, and diabetes management. He founded the successful private family practice in 1997.

Mark Heaver, DO, has taken on a variety of roles since initiating his career. Beyond his work with the private practice, he has served as a Team Physician for Lakeview High School and as a Clinical Associate Professor with the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Immediately prior to establishing the practice, he served as a Public Health Officicial for the City of Rowlett, located in Texas, a role he held between 1978 and 1997. He also ran a solo family practice based in Rowlett, Texas.

Dr. Mark Heaver holds a DO from the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating from the Missouri school in 1975. Prior to this, he attended the University of Tulsa Graduate School, where he completed an MS in Life Sciences. He also possesses a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Tulsa, located in Oklahoma. Following graduate school, Dr. Heaver completed a rotating internship with Stevens Park Osteopathic Hospital in Dallas, TX.

Mark Heaver, DO, maintains affiliations with an array of professional organization. Board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and a Diplomate of the National Board of Examiners for Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, he also possesses memberships in the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association. He ranks as a founding member of the Rotary Club of Rowlett. Dr. Mark Heaver continues to operate from the Dallas, TX, area.
