Dr. Yushonda Midgette-Spriggs

The multitalented Dr. Yushonda E. Midgette-Spriggs is an inspiring trailblazer and visionary. She is a graduate of the Univeristy of North Carolina at Wilmington in Communications, and received "Outstanding Alumna Award" from the same, for launching her very own talk show entitled: "The Call With Yushonda". The Call interviews guest that express themselves through their gifts, talents, miracles, and testimonies. Dr. Midgette-Spriggs is the Founder/President of Yushonda E. Midgette Ministries, Incorporated, aka (YEM Ministries, Inc.) a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 organization; Founder/Apostle of The Call To Worship Outreach Ministry, International; Television/Radio Personality for 'The Call With Yushonda' and other Gospel Programming; Founder of 'The Call Evangelistic Crusade'; Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Dr. Yushonda Midgette-Spriggs and her husband Alfred Spriggs a System Analyst and Minister reside in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Dr. Midgette-Spriggs began speaking before massive audiences at the age of 12 years old. Her love for speaking and surviving a near fatal car accident by a drunk driver, inspired her idea to Host/ Executive Produce her own Christian talk show on WSFX Fox Television, making history as the first locally produced show in her area, reaching 200,000 viewers each Sunday. The Call With Yushonda has aired on the UPN Network; WAXN TV-64 Charlotte, North Carolina, Time Warner Cable, Coast 97.3 FM, and The Word Network.

Dr. Midgette-Spriggs has showcased her talent of expressive poetry before 7000 people in New Orleans at the Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) founded by James Cleveland in 2000; as well as, acted in movies such as: Stompin at the Savoy with Debbie Allen; (PBS)Brown vs. The Board of Education; Extreme Home Makeover (ABC); TNT Network; Arthur Newman Golf Pro; Heart of the Country; The Color Purple Stage Play with Techmoja Theatrical Company, just to name a few.

As a visionary, Dr. Midgette-Spriggs is eager to express her gifts of creativity in the cultural arts, ministry, television/radio, and motivational speaking with movers and shakers across the world. Her goal and desire is to become syndicated with her talk show: "The Call With Yushonda" in the very near future. Her Motto is: "Strive 4 Excellence"
