Dr. Oswald Williams

With more than 20 years of experience as a physician, Dr. Oswald Williams has established significant expertise in geriatric care. As president and Chief Executive Officer of Maturity Medical, P.A., in St. Petersburg, Florida, Dr. Oswald Williams and his staff use a multidisciplinary approach to manage the health care of their elderly patients, working hand-in-hand with corporations, government agencies, and other groups.

Having completed the Geriatric Scholar Program at St. Louis University’s Division of Geriatric Medicine, Dr. Oswald Williams has devoted much of his career to conducting research and managing the care of elderly patients. He has given numerous presentations on such issues involving the elderly as the biology of aging, opiate addiction in the elderly, falls involving geriatric patients, and how to age successfully.

A dedicated professional, Dr. Oswald Williams maintains membership in the Florida Geriatrics Society, the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the Florida Society for Internal Medicine. He also serves as an advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) instructor at Bay Pines Veterans Affairs Healthcare System.

After earning his bachelor’s degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Dr. Oswald Williams received his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the St. Louis University School of Medicine and the University Group of Hospitals.
